About "Anjaana Anjaani"

“Anjaana Anjaani” from The Paradise is an intense romantic melody about love making someone feel as though they have been born again. The opening finds two strangers unexpectedly becoming a pair, with the woman wondering what magic has placed thoughts of him into every breath. Kittu Vissapragada builds this romance through striking opposites. She calls herself destruction while he becomes a shower of flowers, and compares herself to an explosion while describing him as her good fortune, suggesting that his arrival has quietly changed the direction of her life.

The later verses make that attraction more restless and physical. She struggles even to speak his name, while the imagery of a desert, ocean, breath and body turns their connection into something overwhelming rather than gentle affection alone.
