Written by Kalpradha Rajitha, the lyrics open with the striking thought that silence remained even before something could properly begin, and before answers could be given. That unresolved feeling becomes the emotional foundation of the song.

The recurring “Manasa, manasa, telusa, telusa” addresses the heart almost as if questioning whether it understands what has happened. Though their steps were once together, their paths have changed, and after taking different turns, the singer wonders whether they can ever meet again. Images such as a gentle breeze turning into a destructive whirlwind capture how something once comforting can unexpectedly become painful.
