Musically, Santhosh Narayanan deserves a lot of credit here. Anyone familiar with his work knows that he often creates atmosphere as effectively as he creates melodies. This composition doesn’t rely on grand orchestration or overwhelming arrangements. Instead, it allows space for the emotions to breathe.
 
Punya Selva’s vocals are another major strength of the song. There is a softness and sincerity in the performance that perfectly matches the emotional tone of the lyrics. The song never sounds theatrical or exaggerated. Instead, it feels genuine, like someone sharing a difficult truth rather than performing for applause. That emotional honesty helps the lyrics land even harder.
 
What I find particularly interesting is how different this song feels from “Thassadiya,” despite both belonging to the same film. The first single celebrated togetherness, laughter, teasing, and family bonds. This song explores solitude, self-reflection, and emotional resilience.
 
Together, they suggest that Maa Inti Bangaaram may have more emotional depth than we initially expected. While the trailer has already generated significant buzz, songs like this hint that the film could be balancing its lighter moments with meaningful emotional storytelling.
