Emaindi Emaindi – Assala Emaindi?
As I guessed from the song “Hello Bossu,” it looks like all the people of Kubera Puram start singing. It seems that something happened overnight to the entire town, causing everyone to break into song — just like our Dasu.
“Emaindi Emaindi” is written as a humorous situation song. The townspeople suddenly develop an uncontrollable urge to sing instead of speaking normally. Whatever they try to say comes out as a song. Naturally, they begin suspecting — and panicking — that something supernatural, medical, or even cosmic has happened to the entire village. The comedy comes from how seriously they react to such an absurd situation.
But I have a feeling there is something much bigger happening beneath the mines of Kubera Puram. In the teaser, there is a line carved on a stone that reads: “Na Santhustey Meeku Shapa Vimochana Margamu”, which roughly translates to, “If I am pleased, it will become the path to your liberation from the curse.” This line subtly suggests that the village may be under some kind of curse, and perhaps that curse is what has made everyone start singing. Of course, this is just my theory for now, but it definitely has me hooked and excited for the movie’s release on June 11, 2026.
And here’s a fun fact: there are 11 singers credited for this song. Most of them are actually actors appearing in the film and in this song sequence itself. On top of that, the track has four lyricists, all of whom are listed in the credits section below. One of those lyricists is Devi Sri Prasad, who also composed the song and serves as the music director of Sing Geetham. A new song has also been added to the album Ori Jeevuda recently before the movie release.
