Ori Jeevuda Lyrics and English Translation
Ori Jeevuda Jeevuda Jeevuda
Oh, dear fellow… dear soul…
Aa, Neeku Entha Sikku Vachinaadi Ro
Man, what a huge predicament you’ve landed yourself in!
Pedha Sikke Vachinaadi Ro
A really big problem has come your way.
(Repeat x2)
Unna Samasyalake Solutions
Even for the problems already in front of us,
Eeda Telika Sasthunte
we are struggling to find solutions.
Unna Samasyalake Solutionsu
For the existing problems themselves,
Telika Sasthunte
we can’t seem to figure out any answers.
Arey Panam Meeda Attumukka Poyyiloki Jaarinattu
Like a piece of dosa batter on a hot pan slipping straight into the fire,
Vinta Vinta Kastamochi Kompa Munche
strange and unexpected troubles keep arriving and drowning the entire household.
Ori Jeevuda Jeevuda Jeevuda
Oh, dear fellow…
Neeku Entha Sikku Vachinaadi Ro
What a situation you’ve fallen into!
Pedha Sikke Vachinaadi Ro
A huge problem has struck.
Jeevuda Jeevuda Jeevuda
O dear soul…
Neeku Entha Sikku Vachinaadi Ro
What a difficult spot you’re in!
Abba, Pedha Sikke Vachinaadi Ro
Goodness, it’s a really big problem.
Potu Na Raatu Vaate
That’s just how fate keeps hitting me.
Potu Na Raatu Vaate
Such is the path my destiny has taken.
(A rustic expression of surrendering to fate.)
Badhallannavi Vachinappude
Only when troubles arrive
Devudanna Vadu Gurthukosthaduga
do people remember that there is a God.
Mokkulannavi Teerchina Sare
Even after fulfilling the vows you made to God,
Manasu Pettakunte Entha Chesi Dhandaga
it all goes to waste if there is no sincerity in your heart.
Pakkodiki Vache Kastalani
When another person’s hardships come their way,
Masthu Paisal Ga Marchukune Manushulundaga
there are people who turn that suffering into money for themselves.
Sommenthunna Saripodhane
No matter how much wealth they already have,
Atyase Andarlo Nindi Undaga
their hearts remain filled with greed.
Labham Edhi Lekapothe, Sayamedi Cheyyanante
If there’s nothing to gain from it, they won’t even offer a helping hand.
Raatha Rase Vadu Edho Kotha Pettada
With people like these filling the world, perhaps the one who wrote our destiny has some new twist in store for us.
Jeevuda Jeevuda Jeevuda
O dear soul…
Neeku Entha Sikku Vachinaadi Ro, Oho
What a difficult situation has come upon you!
Aha, Pedha Sikke Vachinaadi Ro
Ah, it’s a truly big problem.
Ori Jeevuda Jeevuda Jeevuda Jeevuda
Oh, dear fellow…
Entha Sikku Vachinaadi Ro
What a predicament you’ve fallen into!
Abba, Pedha Sikke Vachinaadi Ro
Goodness, it’s a huge problem indeed.
Potu Na Raatu Vaate
Such are the blows dealt by my fate.
Potu Na Raatu Vaate
That’s the road destiny has laid out for me.
Ori Jeevuda Telugu Lyrics

About Ori Jeevuda and Commentry
With the other 2 songs from the Album Sing Geetham – Emaindhi Emaindhi and Hello Bossu – it clearly establishes that some thing had happened to the village and I have a theory of Emaindi Emaindi song that this might be an occurrence of Chemical reaction from the mines of Kubera Puram, also I had another theory that it might be a curse from someone.
Now with the lyrics clearly indicates that there is some curse laid upon the entire town of Kubera Puram and it started affecting all the people in the town, it does not stop only at natives, but also foreigners in the village in that period.
About the song – This song isn’t merely about one person’s problems. It’s a satirical look at society itself. The singer begins by complaining about his own troubles but gradually shifts toward larger observations: people remember God only when they’re suffering, some profit from the misery of others, greed never seems satisfied, and help often comes only when there’s something to gain.
The repeated “Jeevuda” feels like a man talking to himself, almost saying, “Ayyo, look at the situation you’ve ended up in!” with equal parts frustration, humor, and resignation. The folk flavor keeps it entertaining, while the lyrics quietly sneak in some surprisingly sharp social commentary.
