“Neno Butterfly” is the first song in Telugu version released for the marketing of Vishwanath and Sons movie where, Tamil version of song is titled as Pattampoochi, which is literally translated to “Butterfly”. How ever in Telugu version, it is mentioned as “Neno Butterfly” which is translated to “I’m a Butterfly”. Butterfly in Telugu language is called “Sitakoka Chiluka”. Tamil title went with Butterfly, but interestingly, Telugu version went with the mix of both Telugu and English.
 
Usually, the hero crushes on the Heroine in every other Indian mainstream commercial movie, but here Heroine is crushing on Hero. However, we have seen this type of crushing from female lead is also, which is not very new, but the interesting part is that the hero is literally much older that her. I think this is new, unlike male leads are shown younger (played by an older actor) but Vishwanath and Sons take the other route, where the actor and the character with-in is much older that female lead. It seems like she is in her 20s and he is in her 40s as per the teaser released few months earlier.
 
Ramajogayya Sastry writes the lyrics from the heroine’s perspective, and almost every line reflects how love has completely changed her outlook. The opening lines describe her holding onto him and circling around him like a spinning top. It immediately establishes that her world has started revolving around him. This is not portrayed as suffering or longing. Instead, it is portrayed as excitement. She enjoys being in love and is completely aware of how much influence the hero has over her emotions.
 
One of my favorite aspects of the song is the playful reference to the hero’s name, Surya. The line “Good Morning Suryudalle” works on two levels. On one hand, he is compared to the morning sun that wakes up the world. On the other hand, it directly references the hero himself. The idea is simple: just as the sun wakes people from sleep, his presence has awakened feelings inside her that she never knew existed. The line that follows, asking for a green signal into his heart, keeps the mood light and youthful rather than overly dramatic.
 
The central theme of the song is transformation. The heroine repeatedly explains how she has changed because of him. The line “Neno Butterfly, Mara Rocket Ai” is particularly interesting. A butterfly is already beautiful and free, but a rocket represents unstoppable energy and momentum. She is saying that her feelings have taken her to another level altogether. His magic has transformed her into someone more confident, more energetic, and more alive than before. It is a cute exaggeration, but one that perfectly fits the playful tone of the song and her characterization.
Another enjoyable section is where she calls him “Singama”. This is not merely calling him a lion. It feels like a deliberate nod to Surya’s famous Singam image.
 
That brings us to the word “Pesadi!” which appears after “Single anna status marcha”
In Tamil language, Pesadi is translated as Talk to me or, Come on Speak! or, Say something! In this context of the song, the whole sentence can be translated as
“You changed my status from single—say something!”  – I may be wrong about this, but I’m open for correction and you can contact here for correctios.
 
Musically, G. V. Prakash Kumar gives the song a bright, youthful energy that perfectly complements the lyrics. The arrangement feels colorful and upbeat, while Sublahshini’s vocals bring the right mix of innocence, excitement, and confidence. She sounds genuinely happy rather than dramatic, which helps sell the character’s emotions. Director Venky Atluri appears to be presenting this romance through a lighter lens, focusing on the joy of attraction rather than the pain of separation.
